McGrath’s Limestone (Cong) Ltd. is a well-established family owned and operated company in the market for almost 60 years; set on a 180 acre site in Cong, Co. Mayo, supplying Grolime to all areas of Connacht for past 60 years.

The company has a varied product portfolio and services the Agriculture (Calcium for Animal Feed, Grolime, Animal Hygiene/Cubicle Lime), Construction (Ready-mix Concrete, Quarried Aggregates, Concrete blocks, Asphalt, Limestone Filler/Renders) and Glass manufacturing sectors.

McGrath’s Limestone is one of the purest in Ireland and our ground limestone is sold under the Grolime brand. It has a high TNV (Total Neutralizing Value) and more importantly, a high ENV (Effective Neutralizing Value). McGrath’s limestone is of such high quality that it is exported throughout Europe from Galway Port. McGrath’s are ISO9001 certified and regular testing of particle size and in-house XRF for chemical analysis ensures that McGrath’s remains a proven market leader in the provision of high quality limestone giving the farmer more return for his tonne of Grolime.
